About Me

My photo
My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

Annie get your gun. . .

. . .and hide it. (That is of course unless you would rather be a member of the civilian force Obama plans on creating.) Yesterday was a remarkable day on so many levels I won't even begin to describe them. And when I say remarkable, I don't mean awesome. I mean perplexing. Confusing. Awe. I'm trying to stay very positive as are most of the people who read this. (Mom, it will be ok. I promise it will all be ok.) I think we should look at the positives here. We have to stay focused and as McCain put it, country first.

10) Ambition is no longer going to be rewarded as it used to be. I think that means a level playing field.

9) Biden might learn how to spell gooder.

8) Obama's aunt will most certainly get to stay in the United States now.

7) My father's small business may fail in the next few years. But I'm sure he didn't really want the stress. (or income)

6) Some things are just natural and the economy is no exception. Praise to Obama when the economy naturally springs back after he is sworn in.

5) As I said some things are just natural. Perhaps Nancy Pelosi will stop complaining on the House floor as much. Geez, has menopause ever gripped a woman quite like that? I'm starting to think it's just her personality.

4) We can measure Biden's hair plugs throughout the years. This should be fun! (Does anyone know if those grow???)

3) I think a certain ethnic group will soon be able to stop complaining about "the man" and "the man" sticking it to them. In fact come January, they will BE the man.
2) I think Steven and I (and you should consider this too) are considering quitting our jobs in hopes we qualify for that government program that helps people get rich. I think it's called welfare. I always wished I could get paid to hang out with Steve all day. My prayers have been answered.
1) Most consitutional decisions are "above (his) pay grade".

You can read here about Obama being a Constitutional Scholar.

(From the Saddleback Forum)
"But most stunningly, when Warren asked Obama if he supported a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, Obama said he did not "because historically -- because historically, we have not defined marriage in our Constitution." I don't care if you support a marriage amendment or not. That answer is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard anyone say. If marriage were already defined in the Constitution, we wouldn't need an amendment, no? "
So that's a positive wrap! Keep your heads up and stay strong!
