About Me

My photo
My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

Monday Monday. . .

My friend from college came down and we attended the Tennessee-OU game tonight. (Womens) It was in the Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City. We bought tickets in the nose bleed section but around half time we decided to wander down around closer to the court. We waited and waited hoping to catch a glimpse of Pat Summit or Bob Knight. The game ended and we didn't get close to either one of them. At the end of the game we noticed Bob Knight wasn't at his post at the media desk courtside. Quickly we searched and found him climbing the stairs out of the arena- on the opposite side. It took one moment for Manske and me to look at each other, sync our basketball minds and take off running. And we ran. And we ran. We ran to the other side of the arena where we saw the back of Coach Knights jacket and head. I wasn't about to let this opportunity sneak away from me. I yelled out "COACH KNIGHT! WAIT! CAN WE GET A PICTURE?" He paused and I took the opportunity. I ran up to him, panting and practically yelled, "I'm sorry but I played basketball and I am a HUGE fan of yours!" At that moment he placed his arm around me and posed for the camera. It turned out to be a great Monday KNIGHT! (ha ha)
By the way- OU won.
