Yesterday was Wednesday, today it is Thursday and Friday comes afterwards.

Session is over and thus begins the interim lull. It's fun for about 2 weeks and then it gets really old. Needless to say I've been answering a few phone calls, sending out some mail, playing Angry Birds and listening to a ton of Pandora Radio. If you've never used Pandora radio you have GOT to try this. It's amazing. Just go to www.Pandora.com and whammo! - you have free radio with minimal commercials. On Pandora you can choose your radio station to play whatever type of music you like. For example I have a Radio for Kids station for Cailyn and a Beatles station. I also have a Carpenters station which is newly created and I love it. Which brings me to my next point. The Carpenters station brings back so many memories. One of which is when I used to babysit my non-biological kids, Alex and Paige, we would sing Carpenter songs particularly Top of the World. Alex would sing with all her heart on the words she knew and then mumble the words she didn't. It was the sweetest thing! The same radio station also plays a lot of Simon and Garfunkel.


The other random memory from this is that after my senior year of highschool before college I went on a few dates with an older guy. I think he was about 4 years older and at first I thought it was super cool. But then...he played Simon and Garfunkel. And talked about Simon and Garfunkel and how he really liked them and was huge fan. *snooze fest* I was 18 and too cool for school. Or at least trying to be and Simon and Garfunkel just wasn't cutting the mustard on the cool scale. Needless to say that ended. However, my love for Simon and Garfunkel has not. As of just a few years ago I actually listened to their music and I like it! Now I jam out to it on my Pandora radio. Not only that- I went to the gym a few days ago and while running treading on the treadmill I was searching for some sort of motivation and I found it on the radio. The Night Chicago Died came on and that my friends is what I worked out to. I know that's not Simon and Garfunkel but still- who does that? I wasn't listening to Wiz Calefa or whatever or umm...actually I don't know who is on Top 40 radio currently. Nelly? Are you still there? Destiny's Child? No? it's just Beyonce? What about Busta Ryhmes? Oh he's gone to? Hmmm... I only listen to the Carpenters and Simon and Garfunkel. Good thing I have a birthday this month to help push me towards the old age that I'm getting to be.

Side note- this is Cailyn after a long day at daycare right after we arrived home.
