Update

The appointment yesterday went relatively well. I had convinced myself that if my doctor didn't tell me I was dilated to a one I was going to cry. Fortunately there's no need to shed any tears! I'm dilated to a 2 and about 70% effaced. While doing the exam she decided to strip my membranes (ouch!) and told us that if my body is ready for labor this will help move it along a little faster. She also said there is probably a greater than 50% chance she'll show up before July 26th which is the day she planned on inducing me. We were both so excited after we left the doctor's office and Steven mentioned to me that he feels like he should be doing something- he just didn't know what exactly. This morning I went on a walk in hopes that it will help bring our D-day that much closer but I know that it won't happen if she isn't ready yet. Now we're just trying to hurry up and wait. This should be fun!
