About Me

My photo
My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

My baby brain strikes again

I don't mean to overshadow the excellent news from yesterday, but it is my blog and I can do whatever I want. I decided to wear tennis shoes to work today and then change into my heels once I got to the office. It's a small trek into the building and then another 3 flights of stairs to my office. This morning I did the normal chores, a few dishes, put some lunch together, grabbed the things I don't need but afraid to leave the house without and out the door I went. I opened the garage, started up my car, backed out, called my mother to tell her other good news and it wasn't until I was 5 minutes from work that I realized I forgot my dress shoes. I was so excited about being able to feel our baby move this morning at 5:00 a.m. and about Steven being able to feel her kick (hard for weighing just 10 ounces!) that I left home without my entire wardrobe. I have a feeling this will only get worse.
