About Me

My photo
My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

Dream Girls

I know that strange dreams are common especially during pregnancy. Hormones are so out of whack and every day there is a new thought of anxiety- Will I make a good mom? Is the baby ok? What if something strange happens at delivery? - that increases the risk of strange, bizarre and nonsensical dreams. However last night I had a dream that was especially disturbing. It started off in high school in Pawhuska. There was a pep assembly in the cafeteria (strange in itself, they were always held in the field house) and my best friend Morgan was there in her cheer leading outfit. Also the rednecks I graduated with were there all wearing their usual wranglers; Tony Brown, Justin Carr and D. Easley. None of this is sounding shocking right now, I know, but it will. The band was playing and we were all singing Loyalty. All of a sudden everyone forgot the words and I had to direct them and keep singing. After I had directed the entire school in the singing of our school song I glanced down (this is where it gets weird) and saw that I had on acid washed, tapered leg jeans with Velcro shoes. Maybe not so strange but I graduated high school in 2002. Acid wash was out and this is way before skinny jeans. This is a pretty good idea of what I saw.

These dreams are getting so crazy and I don't understand. It might have something to do with having a girl and extra female hormones and fashion sense. I can't put it all together but I hope that I never have a dream like this again.

(P.S. I love Google Images. You can type in anything and you'll find it!)

It will get stranger! This is just the beginning. Wait until after she comes out and sucks all your brains with her.....you forget everything! I think it begins in pregnancy and then the remainder of your brains are sucked out with the birth. Strange dreams are just the beginning sweet thang! But keep telling them, they are very interesteing ;)
