Dear Moms everywhere (or the limited locations where this blog is read),
I did some laundry this weekend only to find that I always seems to miss at least one sock. I never know where it's gone to and it pretty much disappears. Does the sock monster also live at your house? How many are out there? How do they multiply so quickly? This can only get worse as our family grows. For now it's just the two of us but it seems as though this dreaded monster grows with your family.
In the meantime I propose manufacturers start selling socks in threes instead of pairs. It's bound to happen that you lose one. Who's with me?

I've been using safety pins since high school. When you take off your socks, pin them together. You'll never lose one.
