About Me

My photo
My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

Who needs a baby???

I often joke with Steven that I don't need children, I have him to take care of. I love Steven, more than anything in this world, but sometimes he is absolutely a big kid. Sometimes a big, dare I say, baby. The similarities are eerie. He has to be fed regularly or he goes into a grumpy state that is not his normal jovial self. He needs sleep and plenty of it. I can sit him in front of the television and he'll be fine for hours. Any movie that comes out involving super heroes, comics, villains etc. you can bet we'll be going to see. All that having been said sometimes I find it adorable his childlikeness. It's kind of cute. Sometimes. Rarely. Ok, hardly ever. Especially when we decide to spend and afternoon out and about and every 7.2 seconds I hear "I'm hungry." "What do you want to eat?" "That shirt is nice but it won't fill my tummy." This past Sunday after a brief nap I woke up and decided to fix a real meal which I hadn't really done all week. After I finished cooking I went into the living room to wake up Steven. This is what I found.

Is that your thumb in your mouth?! (No, it wasn't)

This is possibly one of the cutest adult things I've ever seen.

PS
I'm thinking we need a dog.

PSS
I'd rather just go for the real deal; a baby.

PSSS
Please, no one tell Steven about this post.
