About Me
- Brandiosa
- My husband and I have two children. One of each brand. Cailyn is 3 and William is almost 2. I spend my days cleaning up messes, playing dress-up, prince and princess, and hopefully doing my children a service by teaching them some manners and virtues.

It's hard to not get heated.
The presidential race is now in full swing with both candidates having chosen their running mates. I won't get into the qualifications of both because if any decisions were up to me neither presidential candidate would be making these choices. But those things are past and out of my control so we have to make due with what we have and what we have is a decent presidential candidate and a superb vice president holding a lot of promise and hope for those of us wishing to get back to our conservative roots. The left has been trying to outline Palin as a liability in this race instead of an asset, acting as if McCain will drop her any minute. Of course I will admit it was eh-hem, noble, of B. Husseinn Obama to come out and say that children are off limits in this race. Tell me again why he would need to when the media has clearly done it for him? If you're unaware, simply check out the cover of Us Weekly. (Tell me again how this does NOT violate some sort of campaign finance law with the owner being a proud Obama supporter.) The difference here lies in the harsh fact that if liberals had a 17 year old pregnant daughter as a liability, they would just kill the baby using government money (i.e. our dollars) and go on about their business and most likely be commended for their bravery if such a story should ever leak. (By the way,I hear John Edwards is making a great father all over again.) For some reason the media has jumped all over this woman AND her family trying to outline the reasons why she shouldn't be a heart beat away from the presidency as if McCain will pass immediately after inauguration and Hussein Obama is qualified to be first in line. My guess is that they've witnessed an energized base of Republicans with a new reason to go to the polls this November. The media really starts squawking when they feel the heat.
