Wedding update!

Just wanted to update everyone with the wedding details.

As you know we have a church and now we have a place for the reception. It will be at the Crabtown Banquet Hall in Bricktown. It's only a few blocks from the church and is a great space for everyone to eat, drink and be married! We'll be serving the follwing
-Blackened Chicken Tenders
-Crab and Cheese Balls with Remoulade
-Crab Dip with Tortilla Chips
-Spinach and Artichoke Dip
-Fruit and Veggie Trays
-and of course wedding cake for dessert!

I have invitations printed and put together and for those of you who will be needing to make flight/hotel arrangments you should be receiving your invitations in mid February. To my Oklahoma City friends look for yours in the mail mid March.

I found a hotel with a group rate available. They also have a 24 hr shuttle service available to the guests. You can stay at the Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center or if you would rather stay somewhere else I've provided the names and phone numbers of a few other hotels.

Steven made reservations at Spaghetti Warehouse for rehearsal dinner on Friday evening. We're still not sure what time we'll have that.

We are also enrolled in marriage counseling scheduled for February 15 & 16. This is a mini retreat that we'll be taking with other couples here in the city.

I have found a dress and bridesmaid dresses along with the flower girl dresses. The colors are ivory, brown, and sage. They are very beautiful! Steve has taken care of tuxedos and a DJ as well. Things are coming along suprisingly easy. I had no idea that wedding planning could go so smooth. There were a few bumps in the beginning but I think we're past that now.
